Public Service Magazine, Summer 2017

Public Service Magazine (PSM) is a current affairs magazine for senior civil servants, produced by the FDA trade union in the UK. Lexographic partner Craig Ryan launched the magazine back in 1998, when he was head of communications at the FDA. Craig has now returned as acting editor while the current editor is on maternity leave.

This issue includes reports from the FDA's 2017 annual conference, Dave Penman on why the UK needs a strong civil service, and Craig Ryan on the enormous challenge for the civil service and parliament posed by Brexit.
